Way before you tasted the joys of sex (or at least the body parts that are involved with sex), you hopefully tasted the inside of another person's mouth. But did you ever stop in the middle of a deep, passionate kiss and say, "Why the hell are we even doing this?"
Well, Michael Scott (played by Steve Carell) kissed his co-worker, Oscar Martinez, to prove a horrifically hilarious point to the rest of his employees that he was not homophobic.
In the episode "Gay Witch Hunt," Michael calls Oscar "faggy," not knowing Oscar is, in fact, homosexual. After Oscar takes offense to the word and Michael inadvertently outs him to the entire office, Michael hosts a seminar about homosexuality, which, if you ever seen the show, predictably turns out to be a complete disaster.
When Oscar threatens to quit, Michael attempts to reconcile with him by hugging him, and then forcibly kissing him on the lips. This is the types of uncomfortable moments that made The Office one of the best comedies ever, and certainly #1 for Best TV Show Kiss. The episode won writer Greg Daniels a Primetime Emmy for "Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series."
