Beat Your Meat Balls and Spaghetti

(Reading time: 1 minute) - Spaghetti and Meatballs


1 bottle of Pinot Noir (suggestion: Bonterra Pinot Noir)
1 box of Spaghetti
1 tablespoon Salt
1 lb. Ground Beef
1 Large Egg
1/2 cup Bread Crumbs (or crushed crackers)
1/4 cup Minced Onion
1 jar Tomato Sauce

Directions (Spaghetti):

  1. Bring 5 quarts of water to a rolling boil.
  2. Add salt to boiling water.
  3. Add pasta. Stir for first two minutes to prevent sticking.
  4. Cook to "al dente" according to your brand's package directions.
  5. Heat sauce in separate sauce pan.
  6. Quickly drain the pasta into a colander when desired time is reached.
  7. Add your sauce to the pasta and enjoy with your wine.

Directions (Meatballs):

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine egg, bread crumbs, meat, and onion in large bowl and mix.
  3. Form into meatballs about 1" in diameter.
  4. Place evenly on baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes (flipping once) until meatballs are no longer pink in center.
  6. Enjoy your meatballs with more wine.
